Apart from typical operator business, what sets aside being an operator in your channel from any other non sex related chan? I notice in particular the size of people in the channel and the regular joins and parts.

I guess the main difference would be extreme open mindedness, we see a lot of different folks in here with certain...umm preferences, we don't judge people, just try to understand them a bit better..... Hehe well i think most people can't beleive the channel exists.......they join....then think omg! its real...then leave, lol.

With that in mind you surely place restrictions on some kind of language, or is it simply everything goes?

Not language so much, we don't tolerate personal attacks of any kind in the channel, extreme sexual preferences are also not permitted, we generally redirect those people to more appropriate channels. After all if you cant say fuck in a sex channel where would we be? ;)

What do you define as extreme sexual preferences?

Something that would offend the majority of people, rape for instance, or beastiality, anyone asking for child pornography or there to pick up minors is asked to leave.....firmly. We wouldnt tell someone after child porn where to go to get it, we just ban them.

Could you give me an insight into the history of the channel ?

I can try, i've only been here 3 years....and its been around alot longer than that, almost since the beginning of the undernet.... Well a long time ago....no sex or swearing was allowed on the channel... Amazing really since its primarily an adult chat channel, this caused a division in the ops, some left to form their own channels, this spawned a host of smaller sex channels with tighter rules than ours.....the remaining ops laid the foundations for the channel you see today, I think some of the original ops are still around, lea, larry and preti.

Whats the percentage of male to female operators for #cybersex ?

Its 50:50 maybe more towards the female side. I'd say the same percentage goes for the channel regulars as well, although overall there are more men.

What sort of people actually frequent the channel ? Do you find most are looking for decent interaction / conversation or is it mainly lamers looking for quick thrils and abuse?

We get a wide range of folks in here, a lot of the people that come back time and time again are the ones just interested in chat with adult themes, they come from all walks of life, all countries, we have a real mix in here, which i think is nice, of course you will always get the lamers or leg humpers as we affectionately call them, I spend alot of time just talking to the "lamers" at least trying to reform a few, lol. Get them to talk instead of repeat over and over that kind of thing.

So #cybersex reforms the sexually inhibited and enables them to converse better ?

In some cases.....not all, some people are convinced the usual social interactions don't apply on here, and just treat it as a pick up joint, but i think you get those on any channel.

Whats one of the funniest incidents on the channel ? or any amusing stories to share?

Oh lord, theres tons of them.....its hard to think of one that stands alone....can i come back to that one?

Yes....in some ways, for one thing the guys stopped buggin me for sex lol ;) but most were good friends.....so that didnt change.....

I would say definately... As for how people exploit the technology......well ya know id expect to see something around VR technology.....reach out and touch someone .
