The manufacturer of PC components, such as cooling systems, be quiet!, has announced the launch of its new series of Light Base 500 cases. The family debuts with two models, the Light Base 500 LX and the Light Base 500, which seek to combine a clean aesthetic with good airflow and compatibility with the latest mounting trends. In reality, we were already able to see these boxes at Gamescom, but now they officially arrive with prices in euros.

Along with the boxes, the company has also presented new packs of three units of its Pure Wings 3 fans. Among them stands out an unreleased model with reverse bladesspecifically designed to improve air intake from the side or bottom of the chassis without sacrificing aesthetics.

Light Base 500: two versions designed for clean assemblies

Both box models share an interior design designed for versatility. They have a removable and angled side fan frame, whose function is to channel air directly to the graphics card. In addition, they are compatible with the new motherboards with rear connectors (like Asus BTF or MSI Project Zero), which facilitates mounting without visible cables on the front.

The Light Base 500 LX It is the version that includes ARGB lighting. It comes with four 120mm Light Wings LX fans, three of them with reverse blades for air intake. It features an ARGB controller and will be available in black and white. For its part, the LightBase 500 It eliminates all lighting for a minimalist look and includes four Pure Wings 3 120mm fans (three of them also reverse). This model will only be sold in black.

All products will be available from October 21. The Light Base 500 LX will be priced at €154.90 in white and €144.90 in black, while the Light Base 500 will cost €119.90. Three-packs of Pure Wings 3 120mm fans, including the new reverse model, will go on sale for €34.90and those of 140 mm by €37.90.
