The popular notepad is receiving updates in recent months, to promote a new text editor that is adding some options of the missing and acclaimed WordPad. Notepad can now work with formatted text thanks to Markdown, and it also has spell checking to correct those small grammatical errors that sometimes slip through our fingers. The latest addition is tables within this simple text editor.

At the moment, this new feature is only available for Insider channel userswithin the Canary and Dev channels. Users who have updated to version 11.2560.6.0 will be able to create tables within the applicationusing the new button inserted in the toolbar or you can also create them with Markdown. Once the tables are created, you can modify your options easilywith the usual menu that allows you to add or delete rows and columns, even allowing you to create small data sets.
