Last Friday, version 3.2.4 of this popular IRCd has been released. UnrealIRCd 3.2.4 "comes with tons of bugfixes (of which some major), and is a RECOMMENDED upgrade", Syzop announced on the homepage of this IRCd package.
This version contains the option to add spamfiltering to aliases (enabled by default on /MS and /MEMOSERV), number of bans per channel can now be configured and danish, belarussian-w1251 and ukrainian-w1251 are now accepted character sets for nicks. A full changelog can be found here.
This version however contained a bug that disallowed the use of the ? wildcard. This character is used for example in banmasks to represent one character. About 1400 people are reported to have downloaded the version with this bug, before the faulty build was replaced with a correctly working one on Sunday.
