Nice Guide for noobs, (/me bookmarks it ) this will come in handy next time one of my friends whos not familier with *nix comes along playing 500 questions lol
Edit: Oh, and for those of you setting up a eggdrop, here is the best guide to new eggdrop users that I have found. (if that link dosn't work copy and paste: http://www.egghelp.org/setup.htm ) Egghelp also has more shell commands in Shell Accounts, and a good list of shell providers worldwide. I don't feel like posting all the links though, so just click the first one and find em your self

I have to say that this is probably the most effective *nix primer I have seen. It answers all the questions I can remember asking when I fist used *nix. If only I had found this, I would have myself (and google.co.uk) some time. =(

romiir: installing an eggdrop and configuring an eggdrop, both on IRCJunkie :P
Thanks for the kind words on this tut, its a few years old already by now (maybe 3 or even more) but I indeed tried to write it for the *nix n00b who get their first shell or so =)
