Not as popular as Eggdrop bots, EnergyMech bots are still used on IRC to handle channeltasks. Secunia posted a security advisory about version 3.0 which contained a DoS vulnerability.
Sending an EneryMech bot an empty CTCP caused it to crash, which is fixed in version 3.0.2 released the 8th of May. This bugfix is the only change in this version.
