Hi there,
I'm Peter, usually roam around on UnderNet but since that network has (recently?) ran into many problems (or so it seems) I'm becoming a little bored with it. Perhaps this is a very biased point of view but I can't help wonder if they are facing problems which are too big for them to handle, not to mention the fact that I some doubts about certain actions already being taken.
SO... I guess its the usual story but a couple of friends and myself discovered that the other person was also running a (small) IRC network and we decided to link it all up to see if we could survive in the wild. Well, so far, so good
About myself.. I'm a system administrator for work. This is usually focused around Window based PC parks and Unix servers for the more serious usage. Personally it doesn't really matter for me what OS I'm working with since both have very good pro's and con's IMO.
At home I usually work behind a Linux (Debian) box, my server(s) are slowly (but steadily) being converted to the recently released Solaris 10/x86 environment.
I discovered this website via-via When looking at the NeoStats site I discovered a link to the irc chat website but that only features a link to this website. So, here I am
