I really believe in freedom of speech, and will try to do as less moderation as possible. But as in all communities I have to set some basic rules so this forum is a pleasure for all to visit.
- Keep things legal. Yes I know some people abuse IRC to engage in illegal activities. But whatever criminal practices you have in real life, or on IRC, keep them for yourself please.
- Do not spam. Although I don't mind some lines to promote your network or channel in your signature, posts about your new "lagfree, no splits, 100% uptime" network which is running from your cable box are a waste of our time.
- Trolling. This is the cause of many lame flame wars which are not benefitting any of us. If you disagree with somebody, discuss with arguments, not name-yelling or other unnecessary childish behavior.
- Probably the most important: use common sense and treat others like you would like to be treated yourself.
