IRC clients
mIRC Windows, all time favourite. Pirch, Windows, I removed the link becuase they choose to advertise SpyWare programs from their homepage.
Virc, Windows, seems they picked up development again.
Xircon, another windows IRC client.
BersIRC, windows, freeware
BitchX Unix console, seems to be favourite on all flavours of unix.
Epic Unix client with good scripting and bot features
Xchat, Unix GUI. It also releases an Windows version as shareware.
Silverex (X-Chat 2) is releasing freeware Windows builds.
Ircle Macintosh.
Snak, Macintosh, great IRC client.
Amirc, Amiga client, dont forget: you need MUI to run it.
Lirc, another Acorn IRC client. More feature rich according to some(and I cant check that ;)).

IceChat, freeware Windows client.
jmIrc, is a J2ME MIDlet. It allows you to IRC from mobile phones that have support to install such programs.

CRT, very nice shareware telnet/SSH program.
Putty, freeware Telnet/SSH client.
FileZilla, excellent freeware opensource FTP client.
7Zip, freeware file (de-)compression program, supports 7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO and RPM.
Geektools Whois client, excellent little tool to search up abuse handles for IP's and hosts.
WinSCP, open source Secure CoPy client. For uploading and downloading files over SSH, so it is encrypted and save, without the possibility it is being sniffed.

Egghelp.org, THE bot if you are searching for a all round bot. Possibilities are endless by using one or more extra addon scripts that are downloadable freely over the net.
EggHeads, another good eggdrop resource.
Windrops,The name sort of says it already, Eggdrop bots compiled for the Windows OS.
Darkbot, the help bot for bussy channels where a lot of faq's need to be answered. Can also be used for fun.. Take a look in the logs page for some examples.
SUNiNET, eggdrop/tcl resource site. Excellent place to goto when you have problems with TCL..
Loufiz project, a botlending project where you can get 3 stable eggdrops, on 3 seperate bot servers to add stability to your channel. This service is restricted to Undernet.
Winbot, a full IRC bot for the Windows OS. As expected for this OS, it has a GUI where everything can be configured in.
oer, bot for *nix systems ("and for windows" according to their site, but you need Cygwin then (...)), which optionally can make use of a MySQL database.
Piespy, this is a bot that makes image files and animations of social diagrams in a channel.
Dreambot the "next generation IRC bot" according to their own words! Can not really find more information about it to put in here ...

AntiVir, another free for personal use anti virus program.
Tiny Personal Firewall, another good firewall.
AVG AntiVirus, free antivirus program.
Sam Spade, handy page if you need more information on a domain or IP. For example to get the abuse contact details of a ISP.
