The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ portable console with the Intel Arc G3 will cost 300 euros less

We already knew that MSI would launch a somewhat more modest version of its MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ portable console with the Intel G3 processor replacing the Intel G3 Extreme.

Now, reservations have already begun to be seen available for this model in North American stores, lowering the high initial price by about $300.

The 1,599 euros that MSI has priced for the model with the G3 Extreme were about 1,800 dollars in the US. Now, the version with Intel’s more modest G3 is available for reservation in the American country for $1,500, so if we do a direct conversion of this price difference, twe would give a price of about 1,333 euros for this MSI Claw 8 EX A+ with the basic G3.

In addition, it must be taken into account that this version will have 512 GB of storage, half the TB that the top model has.

A very similar CPU but with more relevant cuts in the GPU

This G3 differs from the G3 Extreme in the speed of its 14 cores (distributed in 2 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores and 4 LP E-Cores), which drops from 4.7 GHz to 4.6 GHz. However, the most important difference is its integrated GPU, which replaces the powerful Intel B390 with a more modest Intel B370.

While the B390 has 12 third-generation Xe Cores at 2.3 GHz, the B370 sticks with 10 cores at 2.2 GHz.

The rest of the specifications remain unchanged, with an 8-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels at 120 Hz under which the processor and its 32 GB of memory will be hidden.
