Nothing assaults the high-end of audio with the Headphone (1) Pro: triple driver, titanium and LDAC support for 349 euros
Nothing has given us a very interesting surprise. The London brand has just stormed the high-end in the audio segment. And it does so with the new Headphone (1) Pro, its first headband headphones aimed at fully competing in the hi-fi segment. With this proposal, the manufacturer wants to look face to face with brands like Sony or Bose, which have been dominating the premium headphone segment for years.
The attributes, together with the surname Pro, leave no room for misunderstanding. These headphones are a comprehensive redesign of the acoustic platform and construction materials compared to the brand’s base model. The chassis replaces the plastic finishes with a reinforced aluminum and titanium structureincreasing the thickness of the pads so that it does not become heavy to wear them for hours.
Without a doubt, it is a sober finish, far from the fun colors of the Headphone (a) which, evidently, are several steps below this new proposal.

All the technical details of the new Nothing Pro headphones
From the list of specifications, one of the most relevant things is its three dedicated transducer scheme for each channel. With this, the brand leaves behind the classic wide-spectrum single driver. A 40-millimeter dynamic driver handles low frequencies between 20 Hz and 10 kHz, accompanied by a 13-by-8-millimeter secondary unit for midrange vocals.
To address higher frequencies up to 40 kHz, Nothing turns to a silicon xMEMS piezoelectric transducer. Obviously, without testing it, it’s difficult to draw conclusions about the audio quality, but the setup certainly looks good.
Another point that the brand wanted to highlight is the acoustic calibration. This has been developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios engineers. The Nothing X mobile app allows you to configure this profile without coloration or activate other specific settings for common genres. If this is not enough for you, the brand also offers an advanced equalizer per component. Finally, the processor integrates spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.
Noise cancellation with up to 30 hours of autonomy
Let’s now talk about noise cancellation. To achieve good performance, Nothing has included ten microphones capable of offering an ANC of up to 46 decibels. The system combines three feedforward and two feedback sensors per earpiece to measure acoustic leakage and modulate attenuation in real time.
In the voice section, they are four microphones responsible for isolating calls. These use neural networks trained with more than thirty million sound samples for typical environmental noises in the city and other environments.
With noise cancellation, the headphones can work for up to 30 hours. Now, Its 1060 mAh battery offers up to 68 hours of listening without ANC. It is complemented, for its part, with a quick charging system that recovers two hours of operation in just five minutes.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro are now on sale in Spain. They have a official recommended price of 349 euros. They are available in matte black and white finishes through the Nothing web store and other common online retail platforms.
