Intel has sent Nova Lake “DS” samples with bLLC to a restricted group of users
Despite Intel plans to launch its Nova Lake before the end of the yearit seems that it has limited the samples of the so-called DS processors. Once again it was Jaykihn who told us that these processors, internally designated as “DS”, have been distributed to a small group for evaluation. The DS processors seem to correspond to the references based on two computing tilesand that some variants are expected to be the first to appear under these Nova Lake.
Intel limits Nova Lake DS samples to a small group
Intel secretly carries this DS serieswhich has been sent to a smaller number of users for review. In December, it is expected that these samples will begin to be distributed on a larger scale, which will also include calls Q.S.. Intel wants to keep the first results obtained with these DS samples, which also include the processors bLLC (or BFC)safe from the leaks that often appear on online evaluation pages.
The first Nova Lake would have up to 28 cores and bLLC
The first Intel processors will have a configuration of up to 28 coreswhich will also come with bLLC configurations. According to Intel, these processors would be available during the first quarter of 2027although if they begin to be shipped on a large scale in December, there may be a delay in their availability.
For now There is nothing confirmed by the manufacturerthis includes DS processors, BFC nomenclature or Core Ultra 4000 Series. With the secrecy that Intel seems to be treating this new series, it may be difficult to know more information before the manufacturer’s official presentation, which must be very close if it wants to keep its own word.
