Apple and LG prepare new devices for the home, cameras, a thermostat and even a video doorbell
Apple wants to renew its home ecosystem with new accessories, in addition to the 6-inch HomePad that we have already seen leaked in four colors. The apple giant is also said to be working with LG to carry other home devices to users of your brand. New products such as video doorbell, external cameras and even a thermostat and temperature sensor.
Apple and LG would prepare new devices for the home
Although Apple is collaborating with LG, it is not known under what brand they will finally be launched, since the devices carry the LG brand on the front. These are:
- LG Video Doorbell Wired
- LG Floodlight Cam
- LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In
- LG Smart Deadbolt Lock
- LG Smart Thermostat
- LG Temperature Sensor
The devices have requested the FCC approvalso if they receive the certification they would be available in a few months. Even though they look like LG devices, at least by name, Mark Gurman assures that Apple has participated in some way in the development. Maybe LG will handle the manufacturing and support and Apple can sell them in their store.

Apple could expand its ecosystem with cameras, doorbell and thermostat
What seems clear is that Apple has had something to do with the development of these products. Perhaps you have offered design and engineering supervision to shape these new home gadgets, ensuring that they are fully compatible with existing devices. iPhone, iPads and other Apple devices.
A collaboration with which you can add more elements to your home ecosystemexpanding with this series of LG accessories, perfectly integrated with the general Apple ecosystem.
