Apple leaves clues about the arrival of Siri AI to the original HomePod
Apple has announced several new home devicesincluding a collaboration with LG and Schneider Electric to offer a collection of home automation integrated into your ecosystem. One of the stars in this launch has been the new HomePod mini 2a smart speaker that incorporates the new Siri AI. But for those who already have the larger HomePod there is also good news, Apple hints on its own website that it could also add Siri AI.
The HomePod could also receive Apple’s new Siri AI
A user has noticed that the website for Apple’s largest speaker has changed from one day to the next. After the event, the HomePod page has modified the texts to make them the same Siri AI gradientthe brightness of the top has also been synchronized with that of the HomePod Mini 2.
But at the moment Apple has not confirmed whether Siri AI will also reach this larger HomePod, but these clues suggest that it will. Maybe the apple giant has a plan in mind redesign of this HomePod model rather than an update that makes it smarter.
Siri AI will also come to other older Apple devices
But Apple is also bringing Siri AI to other older devices, such as Apple TV 4K second generation and laterso an update for this HomePod would not be impossible either. Apple may decide to introduce Siri AI to both HomePod models later, since it will not be available on the new mini 2 either at launch.
The new Siri AI is not yet available in Europe
The bad news comes now, since in our country (and throughout the EU) it is not available due to European regulation. It looks like we’ll have to wait a few more months until Apple’s smart assistant is available in Europe, and perhaps by then Apple will have already introduced this AI to its devices, including the HomePod.
