TCL has brought to MWC 2026 different 5G and WiFi 7 connectivity proposals for all types of environments, from fixed 5G router models with WiFi 7, to portable models with removable battery. Let’s take a look at all the news:
TCL 5G CPE B50: Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and 4×4 MIMO support
TCL has presented at MWC 2026 the TCL 5G CPE B50a router designed to offer speeds of up to 5.47 Gbps in 5G networks. The device integrates high-gain 5G NR antennas with 4×4 MIMO support to improve signal strength and coverage. As for the wireless network, it uses dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps and allows the simultaneous connection of up to 128 devices.
The equipment is compatible with the standard EasyMesh R6 to facilitate seamless roaming in homes and offices. Network management is done through a dedicated application that includes security features such as URL filtering and parental controls. The objective of this model is to bring 5G and Wi-Fi 7 technology closer with an affordable price.
