Wood finish on a high-end motherboard for the AM5 socket

Gigabyte has published the new motherboard on its website X870E AERO X3D DARK WOODa variant of its AERO line that changes light finishes for a dark wood aesthetic. The board uses the chipset X870E from AMD, which guarantees support for the Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 processors. This model arrives shortly after the Wood version of “light wood”, limiting itself to a purely aesthetic change in the heatsinks and trim to fit into assemblies that avoid the usual design and prefer a touch of darker wood

In the technical section, the board maintains the specifications of the X870E standard, optimized to take advantage of processors with technology 3D V-Cache like the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

Includes the chipset’s own connectivity improvements, such as native support for USB4 and PCIe lane configurations ready for next generations of GPUs and NVMe SSD storage. Basically, it is the same high-performance platform as the AERO series, but with a darker wood grain finish with a slightly more original design that differs from conventional models.
