OnePlus presents its new Pro tablet with a 13.2-inch, 144 Hz screen and 13,380 mAh battery

OnePlus has presented the Pad 3 Pro in Chinathe company’s new high-end tablet that arrives as direct evolution of the OnePlus Pad 4announced a few months ago in the Chinese market. The brand thus takes advantage of the base of its latest model to build a “Pro” variant focused on screen, autonomy and performance, three sections in which the leap compared to previous generations is considerable.

It is worth clarifying a point that usually generates confusion among those who follow the OnePlus Pad range: the OnePlus Pad 3 launched in China at the end of 2024 is not the same device as the OnePlus Pad 3 that later arrived in global markets in mid-2025. The Pad 3 Pro in question takes the Pad 4 as its starting point, not the Chinese or global Pad 3.

The OnePlus Pad 4, the base of this Pro, already reached 13,380 mAh, although with a slightly faster charge of 80 W.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5: up to 52% more performance

The leap in performance is one of the central arguments of this Pad 3 Pro. The tablet incorporates the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s most recent high-end chip, and OnePlus claims that it offers a score 52% higher on AnTuTu compared to the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro and the global OnePlus Pad 3, both equipped with the first generation Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Breaking down this improvement, the company speaks of a 20% more CPU performance and 23% more GPU performanceaccompanied by lower energy consumption in both components. The contrast is even greater if the comparison is made with the OnePlus Pad 3 launched in China, which used a mid-range processor, the Dimensity 8350, quite far in power from what the new Snapdragon now offers.

Configurations, pricing and availability

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro arrives on the Chinese market in three memory configurations:

• 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: 4,400 yuan (about 568 euros at the current exchange rate).
• 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage: 4,900 yuan (about 632 euros).
• 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage: 5,400 yuan (about 697 euros).

In China, the tablet is sold together with a charger and a USB type A to type C cablealready included in each box. At the moment, OnePlus has not confirmed whether the Pad 3 Pro will leave the Chinese market to reach other regions. The closest precedent plays in favor of this possibility: the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, a direct predecessor in the Pro range, did have a global version at the time, so it is not ruled out that this new tablet will follow the same path in the coming months.
