Lenovo prepares the ThinkBook Swan, a laptop capable of stretching its screen horizontally automatically

Lenovo continues researching to offer new solutions for the future, adapted to laptops with new functionalities such as extendable and roll-up screens. Another of these laptops has been seen in Windows Latest and calls itself Lenovo Swan. This new prototype has a roll-up screen that opens in landscape format inside a casing of the well-known ThinkBook. At the moment, the images look like renders, although it is possible that they will be seen in the next IFA 2026.

Horizontal ultra-wide format to eliminate extra portable monitors

Unlike the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, Lenovo’s first commercial model with a vertical roll-up display, this new model from ThinBook Swan expands horizontally. By opening the screen we can create a portable system with ultra panoramic panel very useful if you want do without a second portable screen and having to connect it to your laptop. Lenovo continues working on small laptops capable of extend display area automaticallyand without carrying extra accessories.

From the Legion gaming line to the ThinkBook Swan commercial concept

This is not the first model that we see like this, last CES we already saw how Lenovo presented the Legion Pro Rollable. A laptop that has hardware for gaming, and that is capable of Also expand its integrated 16-inch screen horizontally up to 24. Lenovo seems not to market this model, not at least with these features, but this new Lenovo ThinkBook Swan is a model that aims more at a commercial laptop with roll-up screen.

Maybe at the next IFA we will see more news and a demonstration of how this new Lenovo system works.
