Acemagic updates its F9A mini workstation with the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 and up to 192 GB of unified memory
We are closely following all the movements of the IFA 2026 fair in Berlin. This time, it was the manufacturer Acemagic who revealed its new features to us. In reality, it is an updated version of its compact F9A workstation that we already saw in July. That model came with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip. Now, the brand expands its catalog with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor.
This novelty has a peculiarity. And, as the company insists, this equipment is the first mini workstation on the market with such a processora statement that positions the machine as an alternative for corporate environments with limited space.
Obviously, the most relevant technical leap of the new model compared to the previous version is found in the capacity of its unified memory, which now reaches up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X at 8,533 MHz compared to the 128 GB of the previous design. By sharing the same bus between the different processing cores, this space allows very large language models to be loaded without resorting to external servers. In fact, the manufacturer claims to have run the 284B DeepSeek V4 Flash model locally in internal laboratory tests with success.

Acemagic has TOPS for everyone
This update brings some important new features thanks to its new processor. Although the chip retains the 16 Zen 5 cores and 32 threads, the maximum clock frequency rises to 5.2 GHzaccompanied by the integrated Radeon 8065S graphics. For its part, the XDNA 2 NPU is now capable of operating with up to 55 TOPS. If we combine the power of this entire set, we would be faced with a device capable of operating with up to 131 TOPS compared to the 126 TOPS of the previous version.
This search to expand capacity, even in such small formats, aligns with what we have been seeing in recent months. Local AI is the answer that many companies are looking for to save the most on licenses and tokens. So manufacturers are trying to provide maximum features that make it possible to run models without depending on external servers. If we add to that the compact format of just two liters of this little guy, its integration in technical offices where desk space is scarce is even simpler.
Connectivity and other aspects of this Acemagic F9A
In the connectivity section, the chassis retains the advanced expansion options that defined the model we saw just a few months ago. For example, we have an OCuLink port based on PCIe 4.0 x4 that allows you to connect external graphics cards or accelerators dedicated devices without suffering the bottlenecks of Thunderbolt connections. This interface is complemented by two 40 Gbps USB4 ports, dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet connection and WiFi 7 wireless connectivity.
Regarding availability, Acemagic will begin pre-sale of the model with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor on September 10 through its official web store. For its part, the top configuration with the PRO 495 chip will be available for reservation shortly after the end of the fair in the German capital. The company has not yet detailed the launch prices in euros for either configuration, information that it will provide us with in the coming weeks.
