Alienware AW3926QW now available with 5K2K at 165Hz and a 330Hz mode
He Alienware AW3926QW has already reached the market after appearing months ago in certification documents. Dell has confirmed full specifications and distribution in the United States and several European countries for this 38.9-inch curved monitor, designed to combine high resolution with a high-frequency mode for competitive gaming.
Its main argument is a RGB Stripe Tandem OLED panel fourth generation with 21:9 format. It operates at 5,120 x 2,160 pixels and 165 Hz, but can switch to 2,560 x 1,080 pixels to reach 330 Hz. This dual configuration allows you to choose between definition and fluidity without resorting to two different screens.
5K2K resolution at 165 Hz or 330 Hz with fewer pixels
Native mode offers a density of 143 pixels per incha high figure for an ultra-wide monitor of this size. Its 5,120 horizontal pixels provide space for applications and games with a wide field of view, while the 2,160 vertical pixels maintain the height of a conventional 4K display.
By activating the 330 Hz mode, resolution drops to 2,560 x 1,080. The trade-off is clear: the definition is reduced by half on each axis to double the refresh rate. This option is aimed at competitive titles where a GPU can produce hundreds of images per second and response takes priority over sharpness.
Alienware declares a 0.03 millisecond gray-to-gray response time in extreme mode. The panel uses an RGB Stripe arrangement and a Tandem OLED structure, which superimposes emitting layers to obtain more brightness and distribute the work between them. The screen has a 1500R curvature and the support allows you to adjust 110 millimeters of height, tilt and lateral rotation.
Up to 1,300 nits and 99% DCI-P3 coverage
The AW3926QW reaches 300 nits of brightness under normal conditions and a Advertised HDR peak of 1,300 nits. It is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified and supports Dolby Vision HDR. Being OLED, each pixel can turn off its own light, which allows blacks to be represented without depending on a backlight divided into zones.
Color reproduction reaches 99% of the DCI-P3 space, works at 10-bit depth, and is calibrated with an average Delta E of less than 2. Dell has also added support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and VESA AdaptiveSync. These technologies synchronize the rhythm of the panel with the frames delivered by the GPU within its operating ranges.
The coating is anti-reflective and the screen offers Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture functions. These options allow you to display two sources, one inside the other or spread across the panel, something useful when a desktop computer and laptop are connected simultaneously.

DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 and USB-C with 90 W
Video connections include a DisplayPort 2.1 and two HDMI 2.1 FRL capable of managing native resolution at 165 Hz with HDR, VRR and DSC compression. USB-C accepts video via DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Modemoves data at 10 Gbps and supplies up to 90 W. In this way, a compatible laptop can receive image, data and power with a single cable.
It also features a USB hub with USB-A and USB-C ports, up to 15W charging on one of the outputs, and a KVM switch. The latter allows you to operate two computers with the same keyboard and mouse, taking advantage of the size of the panel to switch between computers or work with both.
Now available in Europe for 1,149 euros
Dell sells the Alienware AW3926QW for $1,099.99 in the United States. The official price in Germany and France is 1,149 eurostaxes included, while in the United Kingdom it costs £999. The figure may vary slightly between European markets, although the Dell store already allows you to buy it in several countries.
The release fills in information that was missing when the monitor first appeared in certifications. Now the Tandem OLED panel, the two resolution modes, the maximum brightness, the connections and its price are confirmed. Its greatest practical limitation is in the 330 Hz mode itself: to reach that frequency you must accept a resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels.
