PrimeBOT T1 changes from humanoid to quadruped and is shown at IFA 2026
PrimeBOT will bring its two personal robots to IFA 2026, the T1 and Q1with live demonstrations during the fair. The former can transform between a wheeled humanoid mode and a quadruped configuration, while the latter is a small programmable and customizable humanoid.
The Berlin event does not represent the world premiere of these products. The Q1 appeared in China on December 31, 2025, and the family was shown internationally during CES 2026. PrimeBOT officially unveiled the T1 on July 10 at the WAIC conference. The novelty now is their joint exhibition before the European public.
The PrimeBOT T1 can take two different forms
The T1 is designed to move through indoor and outdoor spaces. Can transition from a wheeled humanoid structure to a quadrupedal configurationwith which the company ensures that it can handle stairs, slopes and irregular surfaces. The wheels allow for more efficient movements on regular floors.
PrimeBOT also guides you to autonomous recording. The robot features intelligent eye tracking, cinematic motion control, and more than 15 professional camera templates. These functions would allow tracking planes to be obtained without constantly controlling its position and trajectory.
The manufacturer’s documentation mentions multimodal interaction, context awareness, and long-term memory. It also proposes educational activities to familiarize children with artificial intelligence, writing instructions and collaborating with AI systems.
Many technical details are missing. PrimeBOT has not published its dimensions, weight, autonomy, sensors, processing power or resistance to water and dust. It also does not explain whether the AI functions run locally or require external services.
The PrimeBOT Q1 has 22 degrees of freedom
The Q1 adopts a humanoid format of 88 centimeters high and 22 degrees of freedom. You can perform expressive full-body movements and execute more than ten martial arts-inspired sequences. Its control system seeks to achieve natural movements and improve safety during close interactions.
One of its main features is customization. Users and developers can modify their appearance, voice, personality and behavior. The platform supports modular components and 3D-printable casings, and offers an open architecture for developing features and applications.
PrimeBOT proposes the Q1 as an educational tool, development platform, companion device and equipment for experimenting with built-in artificial intelligence. The robot already participated in a theater production during the Edinburgh Fringe festival in August.
PrimeBOT will show the two robots of the September 4 to 8 at booth H25-150 of IFA Next, located in Hall 25 of Messe Berlin.
The company has not announced prices, marketing dates or launch countries. Configurations, included accessories and support conditions are also missing. The demonstrations will allow us to check its movements and functions, but we will have to wait for commercial information to know when the T1 and Q1 can be purchased.
