Alphacool launches a specific distro plate for the HYTE Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite

Alphacool has expanded its Apex family with two distribution boards designed specifically for boxes HYTE Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite. The new parts replace the front panel and bring together in that area the tank, the circuit channels and the support for the custom liquid cooling pump.

The product is sold in black and white to match the finishes of the box. The two versions cost 319.98 euros and share construction, compatibility and lighting. Alphacool has also presented a 12.98 euro plug to close the pump housing when you prefer to install it elsewhere in the circuit.

Replaces the front of the HYTE Y70

The Apex Distro Plate Y70 It has been designed to occupy the front of the HYTE Y70 and the Y70 Touch Infinite variant. The latter integrates its touch screen in a different corner, so the plate can coexist with it without modifying its function. The assembly leaves the liquid channels visible and turns the front part of the circuit.

Since it is a specific piece, should not be considered a universal plate for other boxes. The fixing points, shape and distribution of connections respond to the geometry of the Y70 series. This integration facilitates a neater installation, although it also links the component to those specific chassis.

The body is made of transparent acrylic glass. Alphacool adds aRGB lighting to highlight the coolant path and sells the set with the exterior elements in black or white. The lighting requires a compatible connection on the motherboard or a suitable controller, as with other aRGB components.

Brass G1/4 connections with a separate acrylic mounting

One of the technical details is in the G1/4 chrome-plated brass fittings. Connections do not screw directly onto acrylic. Alphacool uses two-piece fittings that snap together during installation and seal with an O-ring.

The approach seeks to reduce the mechanical stress around the holes. On an acrylic plate, tightening a fitting directly onto the material can concentrate the stress and encourage cracking if too much torque is applied. Separating the anchor from the sealing reduces this risk and makes it easier for the gasket to maintain the tightness.

The company has not published data on tank capacity, complete number of ports or flow in the announcement. It also does not include a pump in the indicated price. The plate provides the housing and hydraulic distribution, while the user must complete the circuit with the other compatible components.

Compatible with D5, VPP and DDC pumps

Alphacool has also created a plug for the VPP/D5 supports. This piece closes the housing securely when the pump is placed elsewhere in the circuit. This preserves the plate as a tank and distributor, but avoids leaving the hole open to integrate the pump.

The possibility is useful in assemblies where space, vibration or the layout of the tubes make it advisable to separate both elements. It also allows you to keep a pump already installed in another position. The cap is sold separately and its recommended price is 12.98 euros.

Two colors and the same price of 319.98 euros

The black and white Apex Distro Plate Y70 D5/DDC are already listed in the Alphacool documentation with their own references. Both have a recommended price of 319.98 eurosso the choice depends on the finish of the box and the rest of the assembly.

The figure corresponds to a specific distribution board and places it as a component for high-end custom systems. Pump, radiators, blocks, tubes, fittings and coolant will have to be added to the budget if they are not already available. Alphacool has not indicated a package that brings together all these elements nor has it announced a joint discount with the HYTE boxes.
