Aoostar launches the first Motd motherboards with Ryzen 9 9955Hx3D and 9955HX
The hardware market is in full effervescence and, from China, Aoostar wanted to hit the table with a striking advertisement: the first motd base plates equipped with the AMD RYZEN 9 9955HX3D and 9955HXprocessors that premiere the Zen 5 architecture in this format.
The MOTD plates (Motherboard-on-Top-Delvice) They have become an increasingly popular option among enthusiasts for their value for money. When integrating processor and plaque into a single set, they offer power at a good price without investing in a complete equipment. Several brands had touched this formula, but Aoostar wanted to advance with an ambitious proposal.
Two zen processors 5 ready for everything
The New M-Atx plate It will be sold in two configurations. The first riding a Ryzen 9 9955hx, while the second commitment to the Ryzen 9955Hx3D with stacked cache. Both chips share the essential: 16 nuclei, 32 threads, frequencies that reach 5.4 GHz and a 55 W TDPwhich can climb up to 75 w for those who seek to squeeze more power.
The difference is the cache. He standard model offers 64 MB of L3while 9955Hx3D doubles that figure thanks to the Second generation of V-Cache on a single CCD. In practice, this is an interesting extra on scenarios such as gaming or intensive tasks where rapid data and data access weigh more than pure frequencies.
Care and Technical Options Design
At the visual level, Aoostar has opted for a black and white finishwith a 10 phases VRM reinforced by dissipators both for food and M.2 slots. Expanding we find a PCIE 5.0 x16 Complete for graphics cards and another slot PCIE 4.0 x1 additional.
In storage, the sum two m.2 gen5 x4 for NVME and maintains Standard DDR5 UDR5 UDR5reaching a maximum of 128 GB of memory. A curious detail is that the CPU is already pre -installed and covered with a steam chamber that acts as an integrated dissipator, although compatibility with the AM5 retention system is maintained, which allows to use without conventional market dissipating problems.
In connectivity does not fall short: Two SATA III ports, multiple fans, sound compatibility 7.1 and a good ration of USB in the rear panel. All this feeds with a single 8 -pin connector.
Competitive price in front of the desktop range
The great attraction is in the price. The version with Ryzen 9 9955hx3d costs around $ 650 (about 555 euros)while the standard version with 9955hx is located in some 500 dollars (approximately 427 euros).
If we compare, the Ryzen 9 9950x3d of desktop is around $ 700 only for the processor. Here, for a little less, Aoostar offers processor and plaque in a pack. Even the 3D V-Cache model is competitive: it costs about 100 dollars less than the Ryzen 9950x desktop and offers very similar specifications.
A trend that gains strength
With this launch, Aoostar not only marks a precedent with Zen 5 in Motd format, but also consolidates a trend that more and more manufacturers begin to explore: Compact and powerful equipment with aggressive prices.
The company is expected to share more Availability details very soon. The new Aoostar Motd plates offer a very attractive balance between performance and cost. With Zen 5 processors, solid design, DDR5 support and PCIE GEN5 storage, they are presented as a real alternative against the desktop range. If they fulfill what is promised, it will not be unusual for more enthusiasts to begin to look at this format as a way of mounting powerful PCs without firing the budget.
