Dreame enters the camera market with the 55.9 gram LEAPTIC Cube and 8K video
Dreame has entered the compact camera market with the LEAPTIC Cubepresented during IFA 2026. The device weighs 55.9 grams and combines video recording with resolution up to 8K, 50 megapixel photography and various artificial intelligence functions executed from the camera itself.
Its size and the possibility of extending autonomy through a magnetic module place it within the category of cameras for travel, activities and first-person recordings. It will arrive in Spain in mid-October 2026, although Dreame has not yet detailed the content or cost of each package.
8K video, HDR and 4K slow motion
The LEAPTIC Cube can record 8K video at 30 frames per second. It also supports 4K at 60 FPS with HDR and 4K slow motion at 120 FPS. Dreame announces 10-bit color depth, a dynamic range of 13.5 stops, and a dedicated night mode.
For photography it offers a 50 megapixel resolution. This figure allows cropping to be applied while preserving more detail, as long as the optics, sensor and processing match. The press release does not identify the size or manufacturer of the sensor; It also does not specify the resolutions available in other photo modes.
The objective provides a 155 degree field of viewsuitable for covering a wide scene when the camera is close to the user. GyroSteady AI uses artificial intelligence-assisted stabilization to compensate for movements during recording.
Voice control and tracking using artificial intelligence

Integrated assistant responds to command “Hi, Moko.” and allows voice control of some main functions. Dreame accompanies this option with scene recognition, automatic tracking, an AI-managed audio mode, and in-camera portrait enhancement.
These tools seek to reduce manual adjustments when the user is recording alone or has their hands busy. The manufacturer has not yet explained what languages the assistant recognizes, what commands will be available at launch or what functions require an Internet connection.
Auto tracking can be useful for keeping a person in the frame, although its behavior will depend on accessories and mounting mode. Dreame has also not detailed in the statement whether the processing of all AI tools is done locally.
Up to 210 minutes with the Magnetic Battery Cube
The camera offers up to 110 minutes operating with its integrated battery. He Magnetic Battery Cube increases that figure to 210 minutes. The fast charging system recovers approximately 80% in 19 minutesalthough the company does not indicate the conditions used to measure these times.
There will be versions with 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. File transfer can be done via WiFi 6 or USB 3.1. Its body resists immersion of up to 10 meters without the note specifying how long that protection is maintained.
Dreame also applies a CrystalShield coating to improve scratch and stain resistance and make the surface easier to clean. The actual durability must be verified by use tests.
The LEAPTIC Cube will be available at mid-October 2026 from 429 euros. Dreame will offer several packages, but has not yet confirmed what accessories each will include or the price of the configurations with the Magnetic Battery Cube.
