Ghost of Yotei already works on a version of SharpEmu, but its performance only reaches 2 FPS
The PlayStation 5 emulation continues moving forward, this time adding more exclusive games for the Sony console, which you can now also play on PC. On this occasion the developer @foufouadi_ has modified a version of SharpEmu to make this samurai title work called Ghost of Yotei. Mainly SharpEmu runs basic games and those known as Indies, but now it can also handle more powerful titles.
Ghost of Yotei works on the SharpEmu PS5 emulator, although only at 1 or 2 FPS
This emulator has been modified to run this exclusive title for Sony consoles, giving owners of the game the opportunity to also play it on a PC. But at the moment the gameplay is not the best it offers SharpEmu with Ghost of Yotei. In the video left on X/Twitter you can see the start menu loading along with the 3D environment and the main character moving, although with an FPS rate of 1 or 2 per second.
We already saw how wolverine had managed to go from just 1 or 2 images per second to more fluid gameplay reaching more than 20 FPS. Maybe this game Ghost of Yotei follow the same path, and some optimizations make the title at least enjoyable from a computer. Ghost of Yotei was reportedly among the list of games to be released for PC, although Sony later canceled it after making the decision to no longer release single-player games for Windows.
PS5 emulation continues to advance to bring more Sony exclusives to PC
The community continues to advance so that this does not happen, and more and more games that at least work in PlayStation 5 emulators. It is clear that Ghost of Yotai It is not yet playable, but the community will surely get to work and manage to optimize some of the emulators available for PlayStation 5 until making this exclusive game for the Sony console playable.
