Haier launches the I-Pro Clean R5 robot vacuum cleaner with roller mop, 22,000 Pa and 75°C water washing base

Haier has announced its new robot vacuum cleaner and scrubber Haier I-Pro Clean R5, a model that seeks to differentiate itself in this broad market by boasting a suction power of 22,000Pa and a scrubbing system based on a cleaning roller instead of the typical vibrating or rotating mops.

This I-Pro Clean R5 roller has an integrated clean water system that wets it while sucking dirty water into an interior tank. In addition, it automatically detects dirtier areas to force a second pass or increase power, and integrates a mechanism of 10mm automatic mop lift to avoid wetting the carpets when you walk over them. It can also overcome obstacles up to 3 cm high.

For both the suction and scrubbing systems, it includes an extendable arm to reach corners.

The Haier I-Pro Clean R5 has a charging base capable of cleaning with hot water and air.

It also includes a charging base with larger tanks for clean water and dirty water, as well as other suction systems to empty the small tank integrated into the robot itself. The base tank has 2.5 liters and is sealed to prevent odor.

Additionally, clean the roller/mop with hot water at 75ºC and you can dry it with hot air at 55ºC to avoid moisture. It also has a blade to cut possible hair tangles.

The navigation system Haier I-Pro Clean R5 It is composed of a module 360 degree LDS laser to generate the three-dimensional map of the home and a front camera able to recognize small objects to avoid them. This camera uses an “AI-based system” to improve its performance.

The robot is capable of generating a three-dimensional map of the environment and then managing cleaning from the HG Robots mobile app. It promises an autonomy of two and a half hours and is fully charged in 6 hours.

Although the new robot vacuum cleaner is not yet available on the company’s Spanish website, if we go to the version of our neighbors in Portugal, we can now see the complete specifications and all the information. At the moment we do not know its price.
