Huawei launches the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro along with the Watch D3 medical watch and the FreeBuds Neo
Huawei held a European event in Munich in which it brought together several generations of devices. Among the completely new products are the Huawei Watch 6 and Watch 6 Prothe medical watch Watch D3 and headphones FreeBuds Neo. The presentation took place during the days prior to IFA 2026, although it corresponds to an event specific to the brand and is not part of the Berlin fair.
The four releases cover very different uses. The Watch 6 series expands the health and connectivity features of high-end watches; The Watch D3 integrates a physical system to measure blood pressure and the FreeBuds Neo debut a new family of headphones with active noise cancellation. Huawei has not yet detailed the arrival in Spain of all models.
The Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro combine eSIM, X-TAP and AI exercise analysis
The Huawei Watch 6 will be available in 42 and 46mm sizes. The first weighs 38 grams without a strap, while both use synthetic sapphire crystal and a screen that reaches a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. The Watch 6 Pro will be offered in 43 and 46mmwith constructions that combine aerospace-grade titanium alloy or nanotech ceramic, depending on the version. Its panel goes up to 3,500 nits.
Both variants incorporate the X-TAP sensorwhich combines a 12-channel PPG system with a pressure sensor. Pressing and holding for three seconds launches Health Glance, a 60-second check that collects up to 14 indicators. Huawei also includes a physical preparation score and an AI training analysis that studies history to recommend activity or recovery. Some health assessments and sports analysis will be restricted to certain countries, languages and modalities.
The eSIM connectivity allows you to call without carrying the phone, as long as the operator has a compatible service. There’s also NFC, navigation, downloadable apps, and support for Android 9, iOS 13, or later. A future update will enable gestures such as double pinch and swipe, as well as the ability to pair two phones, although the second will be limited to Bluetooth calling.
In standard mode, the 46mm models reach up to 4.5 days of typical use and the little ones arrive in three days. The battery saver brings those figures to seven and five days of typical use, respectively, in exchange for disabling eSIM, WLAN, maps, X-TAP and other features. Huawei has not yet published the price or commercial date of the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro.
The Watch D3 measures pressure with an air chamber inside the strap
The Watch D3 integrates a mechanical air chamber and a pressure sensor using the oscillometric method. You can take measurements at rest, before and after certain exercises, and through a 24-hour outpatient plan. The latter records values during the day and sleep to generate a report with average systolic and diastolic pressure, in addition to the pulse.
Huawei also includes an optional study that reduces long-term monitoring to seven daily measurements, four active and three automatic at night. This modality requires participation through Huawei Research and its results are indicative. The device does have European CE-MDR certification as a medical product for its blood pressure functions, but the remaining risk and wellness assessments are not a substitute for a diagnosis.
The watch measures 11.3mm thick and uses a 1.92-inch AMOLED screen with up to 3,000 nits. It includes ECG, warnings of possible atrial fibrillation, sleep monitoring and more than one hundred sports modalities. Its battery lasts six days in typical laboratory use and approximately one day with ambulatory monitoring set to every 15 minutes. In Spain it will cost 449 euros and will be available on October 26.
The FreeBuds Neo debut adaptive cancellation and an extended range transducer
The FreeBuds Neo They weigh 4.8 grams per earbud and use a third-generation audio chip with dual channel cancellation architecture. The system adapts the noise reduction to the environment and Huawei encrypts its average depth in up to 30 dB within the range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. For calls they combine three conventional microphones with one bone conduction microphone.
Its new Turbo transducer covers 10 Hz to 48 kHz. They support LDAC at up to 990 kbps and, with select Huawei devices, up to 2.3 Mbps streaming with 48 kHz 24-bit audio. They also offer spatial sound with head tracking and simultaneous connection to two Android or iOS devices through Huawei Audio Connect.
Official autonomy is ten hours without cancellation or 6.5 hours with itwith a maximum total of 40 hours when adding the case. Only the headphones have IP55 protection against dust and splashes. The Huawei FreeBuds Neo will arrive in Spain on September 17 129 euros.
