Intel announces microcode update for several processors along with 30 new security advisories

CPU manufacturers have to face the problems that arise with the processors that are already on the market, especially regarding the errors that are found. For this Intel has launched a new version of the microcodespecifically 20251111, which is available for several generations of Intel processors. But this update has not arrived alone, the manufacturer has also added up to 30 security notices with Intel hardware that complement this microcode update.

The affected processors to receive this microcode update are 12th to 14th generation Intel processors, as well as the latest Intel Core Ultra for laptops and 4th to 6th generation Intel Xeon processors. Microcode update is limited to fix some bugs and add improvementsbut the most striking thing is the 30 new security notices added along with this update.

Security notices related to WiFi, graphics or RAID systems

Among them we find a security notice for Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi where the connection may be interrupted due to a serious failure, it is recommended to update to version 23.160 or later. It also lists other failures with the Intel Arcspecifically the B Series, which corrects a bug in the stability and privileges of the drivers, here Intel also recommends updating to version 32.0.101.6913 or later.
