iRobot presents its most advanced Roomba with ultrasonic scrubbing and self-cleaning roller
iRobot has shown at IFA 2026 its new Roomba Max 875 Comboa robot vacuum cleaner and floor mop accompanied by the AutoWash base. It is the company’s most advanced model and already appears in the Spanish store with a price of 1,199 euros, immediate availability and black or white versions.
The team focuses its innovations on carpet cleaning, treating dried stains and protecting fabrics during scrubbing. It also incorporates a navigation system with double-line LiDAR and visual recognition using artificial intelligence.
A skirt seals the robot against the carpets
The SealForce technology It deploys a skirt around the chassis to close the gap between the robot and the carpet fibers. Thus it concentrates 35,000 Pa of suction and an air flow of 20 liters per second in the area you are cleaning. iRobot claims to get a clean three times deeper than when vacuuming carpets without this seal.
The system is completed with a main brush capable of cutting hair and a spiral side brush that guides hair and pet hair into the suction channel. It can overcome thresholds of up to 3.5 centimeters and its body measures 9.98 centimeters high.
Spray and roller work with 60 degree water

For scrubbing, ThermaMist delivers a hot ultrasonic spray that softens dried stains. Then he acts PowerSpin Max rollerwhich rotates at 300 revolutions per minute while Use water at 60 degrees Celsius.
PerfectEdge Extend the roller up to 45 millimeters to get it closer to walls and baseboards. When the robot detects a carpet, DriLift It raises the mop by 14.5 millimeters and lowers a protective cover that prevents the wet roller from coming into contact with the fabric.
The AutoWash base empties the dust container, dispenses the StayClean concentrate, replenishes the water and washes the roller at 80 degrees. Drying is carried out with air at 55 degrees, while the AllergenLock carbon bag allows accumulation waste for an announced maximum of 90 days.
ClearView Pro creates three-dimensional maps using LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI recognizes more than 300 objects to avoid. The Roomba Home app lets you choose rooms, schedule routines, and use Alexa, Siri, or the Google Assistant. The Roomba Max 875 Combo is now available in Spain for 1,199 euros.
