NVIDIA will invest $1 billion in Nokia and will acquire 2.9% of the company

The forgotten one Nokiaat least in terms of mobile phones referstried to resurface with some terminals based on Android after its disappearance when the rise of smartphones began. But where Nokia has its true business is in the 5G networksa business that includes all the hardware and software part for mobile communications wireless, where now NVIDIA will have a 2.9% stake in the company.

This has been reported by NVIDIA itself, which will invest 1 billion dollars in shares of the Finnish Nokia. NVIDIA will buy shares at a price of 6.01 dollarwhich will grant this 2.9% of the company’s ownership, always subject to the relevant approvals by regulatory bodies. NVIDIA wants to contribute its grain of sand in the deployment of new 5G communications along with its 5G and 6G RAN software where the artificial intelligence will play an important role. This corroborates NVIDIA’s intentions to participate in companies that make use of Artificial Intelligence, offering its financial support and providing their hardware solutions for AI.
