SanDisk’s new SSD and microSD are certified for ROG Xbox Ally X

Sandisk has announced new certified storage solutions designed specifically for the new ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally, the two consoles prepared by ASUS and Microsoft under the Xbox line. This is a new microSD card and a high-performance internal NVMe SSD for these portable consoles.

SANDISK microSD Card for ROG Xbox Ally (X)

Sandisk has launched a specific officially licensed microSD card that allows you to play directly from it. The drive offers read speeds of up to 200MB/s and will be available in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities. Its construction is designed to be resistant to drops, shocks and X-rays, and the product has a limited lifetime warranty.

WD_Black SN7100X SSD with up to 7,250 MB/s

The second device is the WD_BLACK SN7100Xan internal NVMe SSD to replace the stock drive. Reaches speeds of up to 7,250MB/s reading and 6,900MB/s writing by using an interface PCI Express 4.0 x4, and will be sold in capacities of 2TB and 4TB. Additionally, the package will include 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC gamers.

Availability and Pricing

The SANDISK microSD Card for ROG Xbox Ally (X) is now available for pre-order on the official Sandisk website with the following prices:

  • 512GB: $69.99, about €65 in exchange.
  • 1TB: $149.99, about €140 in exchange.
  • 2TB: $299.99, about €280 in exchange.

For its part, the WD_BLACK SN7100X NVMe SSD will be available for purchase in the coming months. Your prices will be:

  • 2TB: $159.99, about €150 in exchange.
  • 4TB: $279.99, about €260 in exchange.
