The NVIDIA App is updated with new G-Assist features that manage your laptop’s performance and more

During the pass Gamescom, NVIDIA showed us some of his news that would be available soon, such as new GeForce Now which now works with RTX 5080 graphics. But among these new features there are also new features with AI assistant G-Assistwhich is now able to offer even custom settings for power management of your portable. These developments have arrived with the new version of the NVIDIA App 11.0.5.266.

Manage your laptop’s power settings from G-Assist

The new version of the NVIDIA App now incorporates new functions for manage your laptop powerdirectly from G-Assist and with natural language. It is even capable of optimize games for operation with battery. In addition to this, support for new games to NVIDIA Overridespecifically 13 new games that are available with this feature. Games like the controversial Borderlands 4, the new Metal Gear or Gears of Wars: Reloaded.

New titles compatible with automatic optimization and NVIDIA Override

It has also been included support for optimizing new gamesas well as bug fixes that were present in previous versions of the App. Among them are:

  • Bug where N/A was displayed in stats for games that had separate executables in Campaign and Multiplayer modes.
  • Bug where the game was not optimizing performance after restarting.
  • You cannot change the DLSS Override mode to “Custom”.
  • FPS rate is incorrect when NVIDIA Smooth Motion is selected.
  • Various stability settings.
