The OnePlus 15 arrives with a complete aesthetic redesign, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and without collaboration with Hasselblad

The phone that we have seen so much talk about these days has finally been made official, the OnePlus 15. A phone that skips the number 14 due to Chinese superstitions, and that in this new installment arrives with components worthy of a top of the range. A phone that initially has been released for Chinaand it seems that it will reach the rest of the world in the month of November. This OnePlus 15 arrives with a big redesignstarting with a totally flat screen instead of the curved ones we have seen in past generations.

The OnePlus 15 comes with an aesthetic redesign that follows the trend of the entire market, flat screen, flat edges and a less curved appearance. The screen is 6.78 inches and has FullHD+ resolution, with an already mentioned refresh rate of 165 Hz. The panel, manufactured by BOE of the new X3 type, offers tiny bezels on all sides of just 1.15mm.

Under the screen we find a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is accompanied by 12 or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The battery has also grown to 7,300 mAh thanks to Silicon-Carbon technology, which is also compatible with 120 W fast charging for cable and 50 W wirelessly.

As for the cameras, this redesigned OnePlus 15 also includes important new features. The first and most notable is that there is no longer collaboration with Hasselblad, moving to OPPO Lumo system. The main sensor is 50 MP with a size of 1/1.56 inches, a second 50 MP sensor offers a 3.5x zoom equivalent to 85 mm, and the third 50 MP sensor is of the ultra-wide angle type that is equivalent to 16 mm. On the front, a 32 MP sensor has been added for selfies.
