Following these plans, Xiaomi will start introducing more advanced memory in its flagship phonesmemory LPDDR6. for this CXMT has already started shipping this type of memory to Xiaomi which will debut with its 18th series this coming September.

It has been one’s own CXMT which has announced the mass production of LPDDR6 memorywhich will be included in the next Xiaomi 18 Fold. This has been confirmed by the memory manufacturer itself on its official Weibo account, and Xiaomi has also confirmed that this top-of-the-range phone will carry this more advanced memory. Thanks to this new technology, it is possible to Faster speeds up to 14.4 Gbps per pin and two 12-bit subchannels per chip along with improved and more efficient power management.

CXMT begins mass production of LPDDR6

CXMT memory reaches 12.8 Gbps per pin, and after reporting that they had passed the validation tests earlier this month, the company itself has already announced on Weibo that it has begun the mass production. At the moment, it seems that the Xiaomi 18 Fold will be the first device to have this type of memoryat least the confirmed ones.

Its launch is scheduled for next septemberso there is not much room for other manufacturers to take the lead by adding LPDDR6 memory before this Xiaomi foldable.
