The popular messaging application Goal continues to add new features and aesthetic changes to make sending messages more comfortable. On this occasion it has added a new function that is familiar to us users of Telegramthe message scheduling. WhatsApp has been working on the development of this new feature for several months and it seems that it is now available to test a limited number of users within the beta program of the Android application.

WhatsApp will allow you to schedule messages with date and time

The new feature allows send messages on a scheduled basisestablishing by the user the date and time in which you want it to be sent. In addition to the date and time, you will also set the message to send by writing it yourself, and in addition to text it also allows you to send links, photos or video messages, although at the moment it only supports one photo or video for each message. It is available for private chats and also for user groups on WhatsApp.

The function will work even if you do not have an internet connection, the message will be sent on the scheduled day and time regardless of whether or not you are connected to the internet. They will also be end-to-end encryptionjust like normal conversations between users or groups.

How to schedule messages on WhatsApp and when it will be available

If you are among the users who have access to this new feature, to schedule a message you will only have to press and hold the send button. This will open the interface that will allow you to enter the date and time, with a minimum interval of 10 minutes and a maximum of 2 weeks. To know that you have scheduled a message, a specific section will appear on the chat screen, where you can see and manage them later.

A curious fact is that, if you schedule a message for a WhatsApp group, those who were in the group when it was scheduled will receive it. If you join later you will not receive this new scheduled message.

As we have mentioned, this function is available for some Beta users of the Android application, but we soon hope it will be available for the rest of the users.
