3D without glasses in the new AOC gaming monitor the U27G4FD with 4K Fast IPS panel at 180 Hz

AOC has presented its new gaming monitor in China AOC U27G4FD. A model that continues to rely on screen technology 3D without glasseswhich allows you to switch between the traditional 2D mode and a three-dimensional display with a depth effect without having to wear special glasses, just playing with the projection angle of the pixels.

Mount a 27-inch panel with technology Fast IPS4K UHD resolution 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and a refresh rate of 180Hz. In terms of response speed, it remains at 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT. This resolution is the maximum in 2D mode, since, generally, this type of monitors divide the real resolution in 3D mode by two to give it half the effectiveness, since for each pair of pixels, one is projected towards one eye and the other towards the other.

It offers a brightness of 400 nits, a static contrast of 1,000:1 and covers the 95% of DCI-P3 range and 100% sRGB. Additionally, it meets the adaptive-Sync certifications of NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium.

It also has brightness regulation by DC Dimming to prevent screen flickering, low blue light modes and technology MBR-Sync to reduce motion blur. All of this can be managed from the company’s own G-MENU software.

Regarding connectivity, it includes two HDMI 2.1a DisplayPort 1.43.5 mm audio output and a hub with two USB 3.0 (3.2 Gen 1 5 Gbps). We also have a pair of speakers of 5 W each. The stand allows you to adjust the height (up to 110 mm), the tilt, the lateral rotation and even rotate the screen 90 degrees to use it vertically.

At the moment, AOC has not announced its sales price or when it will arrive on the European market.
