The Intel Nova Lake appear in AIDA64 with the new 4-digit nomenclature
We have recently heard rumors about the new series of Intel processors, the Nova Lake. These upcoming processors are said to have a new nomenclature that is made up of 4 digits, the Intel Core Ultra 4000although it seems that the Core Ultra 400 will also exist. Although there is nothing confirmed by Intel, AIDA64 already has a BETA version that adds compatibility with these Intel Core Ultra 4000 Series.
AIDA64 adds compatibility with the Intel Core Ultra 4000 Series
Popular diagnostic and performance measurement software is updated to include the Intel Core Ultra 4000 Series. Although the manufacturer has not specified what it will call this next series, and if there will be different variants with 400 Series and 4000 Series nomenclature, AIDA64 has come forward to give one more clue that these names seem to be here to stay.
The BETA version of AIDA64 already recognizes Intel Nova Lake-S as Intel Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9 with 4-digit nomenclature. At least some of the Intel Nova Lake desktops and laptops will adopt the new 4-digit nomenclature, while others will use the usual three-digit nomenclature.
Some Nova Lake-S and HX would use four digits
This BETA version also adds other new features, such as compatibility with power supply sensors ASUS Eurux GR120 and the Corsair HXi Shift. Sensor support is also added for ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 32G-PF plus other fixes.
Although the new names for some Intel Nova Lake-S and presumably HX are not final, AIDA64 links them directly with this new 4-digit nomenclature.
