GTA 6 will require firmware 14.10 or higher for PlayStation
A few days ago we knew how most of PlayStation 5 could run the Jailbreak thanks to Relapse. This even opened the door to running your backups of the most recently released game, Wolverine, which required version 13.60 of Sony’s firmware, even though it is already on 14.10. But if you had the same play in mind with the future GTA 6it seems that the Rockstar title will require a higher firmware version.
GTA 6 could require a higher PS5 firmware than Relapse supports
Relapse allows you to do Jailbreak to the PlayStation firmware between version 7.00 and 13.60. But data collected by PlayStation Game Size shows that GTA 6 will require firmware version 14.10 or later. This may cause many consoles that are currently vulnerable with Relapse to be forced to update if they want to run the latest Rockstar title.
GTA 6 will be released on November 19users will even be able to discard the content before its launch so that it is available on launch day without waiting.
GTA 6 would leave out the PS5 compatible with Relapse
Version 14.10 began shipping to PlayStation users at the beginning of this month of October, with some minor changes, security fixes, and performance and stability improvements. It is possible that by November 19 there will already be a new firmware higher than the current 14.10, which will also be able to run GTA 6 and will also be outside of Relapse, leaving out the possibility of jailbreaking.
