Xiaomi confirms the Redmi Book 14 2027 with Intel Wildcat Lake, 2.8K screen and presentation on October 27
The battery is the data with which Xiaomi has decided to open the presentation of its next laptop. It is about the Redmi Book 14 2027which will have a 72 Wh battery with which the company claims to achieve 20.2 hours of office automation and up to 1.26 days of local video playback. Obviously, these are very flattering figures, but they come from the brand’s own tests and not from an independent measurement.
The announcement comes from the Redmi account at Weibowhere the company has confirmed that the team will be presented on October 27 at 7:00 p.m. local time, along with a new mobile device, the K100.
According to the published materials, both the Redmi Book 14 and 16 will debut the processors Intel Wildcat Lake of the Core Series 3. The fine print in the promotional images points to the Core 5 320 for the 14-inch model, the same chip that previous leaks attributed to the 16-inch.

What Xiaomi has already confirmed about the Redmi Book 14 2027
At the moment, the file is half done, because the brand has been releasing loose data instead of publishing the complete specifications. Here we leave it all summarized in a table, with the data that has been confirmed:
| Redmi Book 14 2027 | |
|---|---|
| Processor | Intel Wildcat Lake Core Series 3, Core 5 320 according to the fine print |
| Screen | 2.8K resolution, unspecified panel technology |
| Memory | LPDDR5X-7467, with 16 GB version confirmed |
| Storage | Unconfirmed |
| Battery | 72Wh |
| Declared autonomy | 20.2 hours of simulated office use and 1.26 days of local video |
| Ports | 2 USB Type-A, 2 USB Type-C, full-size HDMI and 3.5mm combo jack |
| Others | Fingerprint reader on the keyboard |
| Presentation | October 27 |
In the images of the laptop you can see a soft pink finish and the fingerprint reader placed above the keyboard, in the upper right area. Despite the thin profile of the chassis, the device maintains plenty of connectivity to avoid having to resort to adapters, as it retains the two USB Type-A, the full-size HDMI output and the 3.5 mm jack, in addition to the two USB Type-C.
It must be taken into account that there is no round charging connector on the chassis, so it is likely that one of those USB-Cs will also act as a power input.
The price and availability, the part of the file that Xiaomi has left for last

What the company has not specified is how much it will cost or if the laptop will leave China, so for now there is no date or international price on the table. For reference, the Redmi Book 14 that it replaces starts at CNY 6,499 (approximately 870 euros) in its configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, although that does not anticipate anything about what the new one will be worth.
With the presentation just around the corner, the type of panel, the memory and storage capacities available and, above all, whether any of these configurations will end up arriving in Europe remain to be clarified.
