The Samsung Galaxy S27 registers its fast charging capacity without surprises, only 25 W
Samsung’s next top-of-the-range non-folding phones are just around the corner, we talk about them Samsung Galaxy S27 Series. A new family of phones in which there are still apparent doubts regarding the SoC chosen for the most powerful of all. But this time, due to the registrations necessary to be able to sell the devices in Europe, we now know the charging speed of the most basic model, the S27.
Samsung Galaxy S27: 25W fast charging, according to its certification
The certification presented in UL Solutions reveals that several Samsung models have been registered with a charge of 9V and 2.77A. This leaves a unsurprising 25W fast chargingthe same as the current Samsung Galaxy S26. Samsung has not been experimenting with faster charges for a few years, although the top of the range has scaled up this feature. But the rest of the models seem stuck in a few simple 25W.
Many of the recently introduced phones from Chinese manufacturers not only feature much larger battery capacities, but they also make up for it with faster charges that far exceed these 25 W from Samsung. At least we hope that the top of the range S27 Ultra and his younger brother S27 Pro have faster charges like the current one S26 Ultra, offering up to 60 W.
