Huawei releases stable Xiaoyi Work as a standalone app for HarmonyOS computers

Huawei has started distributing a standalone app Xiaoyi for computers with HarmonyOS through AppGallery. Version 11.7.9.300 includes the stable release of Xiaoyi Work, the assistant with which the company aims to automate tasks that require working with files and professional tools.

According to the information published, this phase comes after the tests that began in September. The novelty brings together two changes: Xiaoyi now has an independent application on these computers and its Work environment abandons testing. Access to certain functions still depends on the equipment, system version and contracted plan.

From a request to the execution of tasks

Xiaoyi Work allows you to prepare documents, presentations and spreadsheets, as well as data analysis. Huawei describes an operation in which the assistant divides the request into steps, organizes its execution and uses the necessary tools to complete it.
