Acer has announced the launch of the Predator Helios 18 AI (PH18-I71)a full-fledged gaming laptop, large and powerful, aimed at users looking for desktop performance in a portable system.

In its most powerful configuration, the laptop incorporates the new processor Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and the graph NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 24 GB of dedicated GDDR7 video memory based on the Blackwell architecture. To manage temperatures, the brand has implemented a cooling system composed of two 6th generation Predator AeroBlade 3D metal fans with 0.05 mm blades, accompanied by heatpipes and liquid metal thermal paste. Memory options go up to 256GB DDR5, along with up to 6TB storage via three NVMe PCIe Gen 5 SSD slots.

The screen mounts an 18-inch Mini LED panel with 16:10 format and 4K WQUXGA resolution, which offers 1000 nits of maximum brightness in HDR mode and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. Its main feature is the function Dual-Modewhich allows the user to switch between a resolution 4K at 120Hz for greater definition or switch to Full HD at 240Hz to prioritize fluidity in competitive environments. The technical section is completed with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, two Thunderbolt 5 ports and a six-speaker audio system.

Its arrival in the Spanish market is scheduled for August 2026.
