Cooler Master officially launches the HAF II 500: 220 mm fans for high-performance hardware
We were already able to see it in detail during the last Computex 2026 and now its arrival on the market is official. Cooler Master has announced the availability of the new HAF II 500, a box that maintains the design and range of the HOF (High Air Flow) line and that goes on sale with an international price of $199.99.
As has been common in HOF cases for years (and decades) Cooler Master has mounted two huge front fans, this time two of the new ones. Mighty40 F220 220mm along with a Mighty40 V180 180mm rear extractor. What differentiates these models is their considerable thickness of 40 mm and the construction of their liquid crystal polymer blades. This gives them greater rigidity which, added to their large size, allows a large volume of air to be moved at very low revolutions to reduce noise.
Split interior and support for high-performance hardware
To take advantage of all that air intake, the internal structure includes a specific deflector in the lower area to divide the airflow of the lower fan in two directions, sending fresh air directly to the graphics card and also towards the lower area of the source and the hard drives.

The internal space has room for today’s most voluminous components. It includes a graphics card holder that allows you to anchor configurations of one or two GPUs with a maximum thickness of 3.6 slots (72 mm) per card, leaving them fixed and avoiding overloading the PCIe x16 ports.
For easy mounting, the HAF II 500 uses the sliding rail-based MasterRail system to easily adjust the installation of radiators and fans. It also includes an integrated sliding cover next to the motherboard area that hides cables in a dedicated rear camera for easy cable management.
