ASUS ROG Flux Charger Dock: a dock with an LCD screen capable of powering laptops and peripherals with 260 W of power

ASUS has announced the new ROG Flux Charger Docka charging station and port HUB designed for laptops that require extra connectivity.

It is capable of reaching a total power of 260W power distributed among its different positions. This energy can be monitored through a small 1.9-inch screen, which is accompanied by a small control dial on the side to navigate through the different menus.

Those 260 W are distributed, as we mentioned, in different ports. To power the laptop we have a specific USB-C with Power Delivery from which up to 140W, enough for the vast majority of conventional laptops and even to power the occasional gaming model, especially if we do not use the dedicated GPU.

This port can be configured by limiting it to 100W so that another USB-C port can also offer 100 W and thus power another laptop or a peripheral such as a monitor, for example. Offers up to 5 profiles to configure, including “smart” mode that adjusts power output depending on connected devices. In addition, the speed of the integrated cooling fan can be adjusted.

USB-C 3.1, USB-A 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 among its connectivity options

In addition to the three USB-C ports it has (USB 3.1 10 Gbps, also known as USB 3.2 Gen 2), the ASUS ROG Flux Charger Dock includes two old USB-A 2.0 480 Mbps capable of delivering 12 W of power. It is also accompanied by a full-size HDMI 2.1 output compatible with 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz.

All this in a HUB measuring 122.7 x 64 x 116.2 mm decorated with ARGB lighting compatible with ASUS AURA Sync. At the moment, we do not know its price and release date in Spain.
