ASUS puts the ROG Cronox ARGB on sale with space for 14 fans and two 360 mm radiators

ASUS has started the European launch of the ROG Cronox ARGBthe panoramic box that was presented during CES 2026. The product is beginning to arrive in stores in black and white, with a recommended price of 499.90 euros in Germany and Austria. Some European stores have also started listing bundles that include the box and three additional fans.

The presentation held in January allowed us to know its design and its main specifications. The novelty now is its commercialization, accompanied by the launch of the fans ROG Eurux GR120 ARGB. ASUS has not yet communicated a specific official price for Spain.

A widescreen box with an integrated 9.2-inch screen

The ROG Cronox ARGB uses a large format structure with a curved tempered glass panel that covers the front and the side. The glass can be removed without tools to facilitate assembly and leaves a good part of the components visible.

Inside the chassis there is a 9.2-inch LCD screen with 1,920 × 420 pixel resolution and a frequency of 60 Hz. The panel is placed on a hinge that allows its angle to be modified, something necessary when the tower is located below or above the line of sight.

The screen can play custom images and animations, display a clock, or present system information. Supported data includes CPU and GPU temperatures, memory usage, fan speeds, and network activity. Some content is managed by ASUS software.

The interior supports EATX motherboards from up to 12 × 10.9 inches, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. It is also compatible with ASUS BTF boards, which move the main connectors to the back to reduce visible cables around components.

Its dimensions are 248.3 × 618.7 × 583.9mm. Although ASUS classifies it in some regional listings as a mid-tower, its measurements, compatibility and internal capacity correspond to a large format box.

Space for 400 mm graphics and two 360 mm radiators

The Cronox supports graphics cards up to 400mm when installed horizontally. It also allows vertical mounting, with a maximum clearance of 115mm for the width of the card. The clamp uses a clamp for the expansion slots that can be opened without tools.

The limit for CPU coolers is 180mm in heightwhile the power supply can measure up to 200mm. The rear chamber reserves 40 mm to organize the cables and has two different routes, adapted to conventional plates and BTF models.

For liquid cooling 120, 240 or 360 mm radiators can be installed in the upper area. The side supports another radiator of up to 360 mm and the rear part allows one of 120 mm to be mounted. This makes it possible to combine two 360mm units within the same system.

The side fan support can be rotated to direct air towards components or clear the view through the glass. The case has positions for fourteen 120 mm fans: four on the top, four on the side, four at the base and two in the rear area.

The connection panel Features four 5Gbps USB-A, two 20Gbps USB-C, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. USB-Cs can deliver up to 60W of power if the system is connected and configured with the necessary hardware. There are also separate controls for lighting and fans.

Four Eurux GR120 fans included

The ARGB version incorporates four ROG Eurux GR120 from the factory. Three are models with inverted blades placed on the side to introduce air without leaving the rear structure visible. The fourth unit uses conventional blades and functions as a rear extraction.

The Eurux GR120 have 30 mm thick and use liquid crystal polymer blades. The standard variant reaches 2,600 RPM, a flow of 85 CFM and a static pressure of 4.5 mmH₂O, with a maximum declared noise of 33 dBA.

The inverted fan operates at a maximum of 2,200 RPM, moving up to 70 CFM and providing 3 mmH₂O of pressure, with a limit of 32 dBA. It is convenient to distinguish both configurations, since the higher figures announced by ASUS correspond to the standard model.

Each fan integrates three independent ARGB zones and connectors to link multiple units. They need the specific ROG hub, capable of controlling up to fourteen fans and powered by two SATA connections. This controller is included with three-packs.

In the European markets where the launch has already been announced, each ROG Eurux GR120 costs 29.90 euros and the three-pack with hub goes up to 99.90 euros. The ROG Cronox ARGB has a recommended price of 499.90 euros and comes in black and white finishes. It remains to be confirmed whether ASUS will apply the same amounts in Spain.
