Denuvo sues user Voices 38 for bypassing his protection in at least 26 games





Denuvo is a popular anti-piracy software which is included in many games, but there are also users who manage to bypass this protection and publish titles without this protection so that any user can access it without paying. The company that owns this anti-copy system and DRM (Digital Rights Management) has reported the anonymous user who calls himself Voices 38 for bypassing this protection in at least 26 games that include it.

The company has sued this user for bypass this protection system included in many games. In the lawsuit, filed in United States District Court for the Northern District of Californiaup to 26 titles have been cited, including recently launched ones, where the user Voices 38 has managed to delete and subsequently publish so that other users can download and play it without paying the corresponding license.

Denuvo’s lawsuit is based on violation of the DMCA

The lawsuit has not specifically been filed for violating the copyrightbut by the provisions of the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) which prohibits the violation of digital access controls.
