MediaTek announces its Dimensity CX C10 Max for Googlebooks

MediaTek has announced its Dimensity CX C10 Maxa processor with which they launch the line Dimension Compute Experiences (CX) for light laptops like the newly released Googlebook, which we already know will include some models with Snapdragon X Elite with ARM architecture.

Manufactured to 3 nanometers, The company has adapted its Cortex core architecture in groups of different power and speed, although on this occasion, since it is not for devices as compact as smartphones, they have dispensed with low-consumption cores.

This model combines a high-performance 2.73 GHz Cortex-X925 core with 2 MB of L2 cache, with three Cortex-X4 cores with 1 MB of L2 each, and four Cortex-A720 cores with 512 KB of cache. All cores share 12MB L3 cache and 10MB SLC.

In terms of memory and storage, it adds support for RAM memory LPDDR5X at 9,600 Mbps and storage chip support UFS 4.0. There doesn’t seem to be support for PCI Express in storage.

The integrated GPU is a Immortalis-G925 MC11 from ARM with 11 cores. Supports 4K decoding at 60 FPS in 10 bits for HEVC, AVC, VP9 and AV1, encoding of the same type in HEVC and AVC. It is possible to integrate it into computers with screens up to 4K at 60 Hz and output a maximum of two external 4K monitors through DisplayPort.

The AI ​​trend is at its peak, so there is no shortage of an NPU for local AI, specifically the “NPU 890″ up to 55 TOPS, so it would even be suitable for integration into computers with Windows 11 and Copilot+.

Finally, we have an ISP Imagiq 1090with support for cameras up to 32 MP, HDR and stabilization (EIS) and wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 7 up to 7.3 Gbps and Bluetooth 6.0 (technology not compatible with Googlebooks).
