Everyone waits for GTA 6one of the most controversial and anticipated titles in recent years. But while this next installment from Rockstar and Take-Two arrives, a user has decided to offer a unofficial version of the current GTA V for Android. It is the same user who has managed to bring this game to Nintendo’s popular hybrid console, the original Switch. Following these steps, you now want to offer a native version for Android phones and devices.

GTA V prepares its native arrival on Android devices

This is an unofficial version, surely supported by the GTA V source code leak three years ago now. Initially user M0jso, from Paralympics Productions, has released a native version for the Nintendo Switch that also uses an Arm CPU. The user has made this project so that it can run on Arm hardware natively, for the Nintendo Switch he has used GTA V Legacy 1.0.2699 and it has been compiled for the Tegra X1 of this console.

Following these steps, the user who wants to bring GTA V to Android phones can also use the same code that makes this port possible, and play it on our mobile phones and other Android devices. The minimum requirements for the first public version are going to a processor Snapdragon 865 coupled with 8 GB of RAMyou will also need 65 GB of available storage. In principle, the version is only compatible with Snapdragon hardware and it is possible that it will soon work with older versions without guaranteeing optimal performance.

GTA V for Android would have high minimum requirements

The developer is working to expand this support to more processors and GPUslike the Samsung Exynos that have Xclipse graphics. On the other hand, Google’s Tensor processors with PowerVR graphics and MediaTek Helios are listed as not intended for compatibility. For now There is no version available or a release date for this project that I’m sure many are wanting to try.
