Apple Creator Studio gets updated with MotionVFX in Final Cut Pro, Generate Fill in Pixelmator Pro, and built-in chatbots
Apple today presented a new update to Apple Creator Studio, its subscription of creative apps for Mac, iPad and iPhone, and the main novelty is AI. Logic Pro, Keynote, Pages and Numbers incorporate a smart assistant based on Apple and OpenAI modelscapable of understanding the context of the project or document being worked on. Of course, at the moment it arrives in beta phase and only works in American English.
Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Apps and iCloud Marketing, has described it as “the most important update since the launch” of the service. It will arrive in November through the App Store, free for those who already subscribe, and also brings changes to Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro and the rest of the tools in the collection.
MotionVFX in Final Cut Pro and generative editing in Pixelmator Pro
In the video section, Final Cut Pro for Mac now integrates MotionVFXa collection with thousands of templates, titles, transitions and animated graphics that also includes rotoscoping, tracking and color grading tools. Additionally, any timeline image can be opened directly in Pixelmator Pro and changes are saved to the project without needing to be re-imported. On the other hand, Compressor can now encode video recorded in Cinema mode with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.
Pixelmator Pro, for its part, debuts Generate Fill. Simply circle the area of the image you want to change and describe the result for the app to modify it, adapting the lighting, perspective and texture to the rest of the scene. To further refine the selection, you can also use the app’s usual tools, such as Quick Selection or Magnetic Selection.
As to Logic Prothe AI assistant helps you start a song, create a vocal track from a prompt, or polish a project in progress. The Sound Browser has been redesigned to bring together loops, instruments and effects, and automatically tags each added sound. In addition, the Stem Splitter, the function that separates the different parts of a song, now allows you to isolate, replace or rebalance each element of the drum kit without having the original tracks.
Keynote, Pages and Numbers open to external AI agents

In the office automation part, the AI assistant, which is one of the main new features, adapts to each app. For example, in Keynote it helps design, animate and refine slides. In the case of Pages, AI can draft and restructure texts. Finally, in Numbers it calculates, organizes data, and recommends the type of graph that best fits it. To use it, you need a device with Apple Intelligence and version 27 of iOS, iPadOS or macOS.

Added to this is support for the Model Context Protocol or MCP, a standard that allows you to connect external AI tools and agents with an application. In practice, this means that they will be able to read a document, edit it and execute automated actions in the three apps, as long as the Mac has macOS 27. Without a doubt, this is good news for those who want to work with frontier models that Apple does not provide, such as Fable by Claude or GPT-6 Astra by OpenAI.
Apple Creator Studio Price
For new users, subscription costs 12.99 euros per month or 129 euros per year, with a one-month free trial and three months free of charge when purchasing a compatible Mac or iPad. Although it is quite economical compared to other options on the market, there are options to save.
Without going any further, university students and teachers can hire it for 2.99 euros per month or 29 euros per year. Additionally, the Family subscription is shared with up to six people. Whoever prefers to pay once will still have Final Cut Pro in the Mac App Store for 349.99 euros, Logic Pro for 229.99 euros and Pixelmator Pro, Motion and Compressor for 59.99 euros each.
