ASUS announces the ZenMouse MD202, a wireless mouse with a Ceraluminum finish and up to 7 months of battery life

ASUS has presented the ZenMouse MD202a new wireless mouse aimed at productivity that focuses on design, autonomy and connection versatility. The company places it within the aesthetics of the Zenbook family, with a top cover made of Ceraluminium, the company’s own material that seeks to combine ceramic touch, wear resistance and a more careful image than that of a conventional office peripheral.

Beyond that visual focus, the ad leaves a fairly complete product for daily use. The ZenMouse MD202 can connect via Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz radio, work with up to four devices, and use a sensor compatible with glass surfaces. ASUS also promises up to seven months of autonomy with a full charge and a fast charging system capable of offering 16 hours of use with just one minute plugged in.

Zenbook design, glass sensor and functions designed for productivity

As we said, the most differentiating element of the ZenMouse MD202 is its top cover made of Ceraluminumthe same material language that ASUS has been using in some Zenbook laptops. According to the brand, this finish offers a ceramic-like texture with a subtle metallic shine, as well as resistance to scratches, bumps, dirt and wear over time.

In the technical section, ASUS aims for comfortable use in changing work environments. The mouse allows you to switch between various devices, integrates PTFE legs for smoother sliding and mounts an optical sensor with Track-on-Glasssomething useful for shiny tables or complicated surfaces where other models often fail. Added to this are switches with a useful life of up to 50 million clicks.

Customization is left to the MyASUS app, from where you can assign shortcuts and modify the sensitivity. ASUS mentions shortcuts for screenshot, focus effects, pinning or unpinning windows, showing desktop or launching Copilotas well as a three-level DPI selector at the bottom to adapt the mouse to different work rates.

For now, ASUS has limited itself to announcing the ZenMouse MD202 and detailing its characteristics, but has not specified or official price nor date of arrival on the market. It is also not yet listed in the ASUS store in Spain, so at the moment there is no public reference to its commercial launch in our country or other European markets.

With what ASUS has taught, the proposal fits as a mid-high range productivity mouse where the main claim is in the premium designautonomy and the possibility of moving between several devices without depending on a single use environment. We just have to wait to see when it can be purchased and for how much.
